I Think I May Have Prayed for Patience

Yeah, you know the old adage - "You better not pray for patience, God will give it to you." I must've done that somewhere along the line because in the past few weeks, we've had to replace a water heater, deal with long work hours due to cranberry season (Everybody go to Trader Joe's and buy a bunch of cranberry sauce for your turkeys!) and explore water damage remediation and the possible replacement of our entire shower due to a shower pan leak. So Hope's room has holes in it to inspect the water damage for mold. She's currently sleeping in the office which is transitioning into a playroom - it's a fun time here at the Cornelius homestead. Well, things could be much worse, and actually I am gaining more patience as a result. But, I think I'll tell God I'm good for now :>)
