Christmas Craze & the New Year

Wow! These crazy holiday weeks are actually over. I'm a little sad that all the festivities and family togetherness is over, but the pace was a bit fast. I must start shopping in October to lessen my anxiety. In fact, that's my New Year's resolution! We enjoyed lots of fun things as you can see below. Our immediate family celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve with presents for Jesus first, followed by presents for the girls. Grace quickly adopted many of Hope's presents too saying, "She's letting me borrow this." (Hmmmm, indeed) For Christmas, in lieu of adult presents, all of Brent's family gathered in Flagstaff, Arizona (about 2 hours north of Phoenix) for two days of snow fun. We were lucky to enjoy so much - as that doesn't always happen. The season was full of memorable moments and peace and reflection for all God has done for us.
