This last weekend (January 18-21) I was lucky enough to have my college friends in town visiting - minus one who was about to give birth (so she had a good excuse! We had a great time reminiscing, catching up on what's new in each other's lives, new prayers and blessings. Of course, there was also plenty of eating, movies, shopping and more eating. So, this week I've just been thanking God for these friendships, and for the ones I've made since. Life really is all about relationships. They teach us a lot about how to behave as Christ-followers. Hey, Jesus had 12 friends he "shopped" with for a few years too. Anyway, blessings on my fellow Westmont buddies and bless all of our relationships as we continue to act as Christ would have us act in them.
