It may not surprise some of you that my husband frequently teases me - about pretty much everything. I'm thinking he's still a 2nd grade boy at heart who chases the girls he likes at recess. Except instead of chasing, it's teasing. Anyway, he's been teasing me about not being very adventurous when it comes to trying new restaurants. It's true. I have my favorites; and I have my favorite meals at each one. In a perfect world, I would make the rounds of my favorites and eat my favorite meals, without cutting someone else's food or going for "walks" while the food's cooking, whenever a food desire strikes me. (Can I get an amen from all the moms out there?) So, he's been teasing me about this. So, in an effort to both prove him wrong and come out of my restaurant comfort zone, we have been to two new restaurants lately. The King's Fish House and Cadillac Ranch Grill - both at the Tempe Marketplace (new shopping area near us). So, at Cadillac Ranch Grill, while sipping cocktails and chatting, Brent decides to challenge me to ride the mechanical bull that's at this restaurant. Not exactly my idea of entertainment, but he goaded me into it. So, we did. Above are pictures to document the event. Let it be known that "Adventure Girl" (me) stayed on 3 whole, HUGE seconds longer than "Mr. Professional Bull Rider" (38 - 35)who bragged to our waitress about his abilities. IN YOUR FACE, Adventure Boy :>))
