Mom's Day Tea

I was invited to tea with two lovely ladies last Thursday.
It was just delightful. I had tea with Hope
at 9:15 and she presented me with this placemate, a cute necklace with
half of the letters of my name, M-I-C-H.
(she couldn't find the E - L - L - E)
and this cute pic of she and her friend, Allee.
The quote on her placemat was an answer to the question,
"What does your mom do to make you laugh?"

This was Gracie's placemat - so cute - sorry you can't
see the little poem - it's precious. She presented me
with a bag of goodies as well - a lovely pin, a painted tile,
a letter written about me (see below).
Her class sang a cute song and held up letters spelling
M-O-T-H-E-R
sweet, very delightful morning spent with my two sweeties :)

So, here's her interview as dictated to her teacher:
(all words are her own - so cute)
"My mother is actually 35. I don't really know how tall she is. I haven't measured her. I think she's 80 pounds. (God bless her!) Her eyes are blue and her hair is blonde and a little bit red.
My mom's favorite food is pizza with all the stuff on it and her favorite drink is Coke. My favorite thing she makes me is mac and cheese.
My mom likes to play and color with us. I like to play with her and I like it when she chases me. My mom and dad like to go out to dinner.
My mom laughs when daddy says funny things. (ha) She is funny when she plays peek-a-boo with me. She makes me happy when I'm grumpy; and when she's sad, I make her happy.
My mom is prettiest when she dresses in fancy dresses. My favorite thing she wears is a polka dot shirt and a black skirt. (I haven't been able to identify this outfit as an actual outfit.)
My mom is so special because she just is!
I love her the most!"
Ah, my feelings exactly, Gracie and Hope
I love you both the most!
