Some Random Shots

I haven't posted in a while because I'm not being very intentional with my camera time. Summer's started, so I'm going to turn over a new leaf and do some more photography!
First up, Gracie lost her 3rd tooth, but one of the top two which are most significant when it comes to eating, talking, whistling and so on. It was dangling quite a bit and bothering her. Her preschool teacher volunteered to remove it (apparently she has a lot of tooth removal experience). Gracie wasn't so sure about that at first, but after an afternoon of thinking it over, announced to me, "Tomorrow, I'm going to have Mrs. Agnes pull my tooth out."
All right, girl, go for it. I was presented with a ziploc baggy containing said tooth when I picked her up the next day. She was very proud of her bravery!

Hopi Hopester has been playing in her "makeup." This consists of my old makeup that I've cleaned out and allowed them to play with. She's got some blush in random spots on her cheeks, but my favorite is the eyeshadow on the eyebrows and underneath her eyes, so it makes her look like an abused child. She likes to do this right before we have to go somewhere too. :)

Gracie is starting swim team/swim lessons soon and both girls will be taking some gymnastics lessons this summer. Look for fun photo documentation to come!

Yeah! A new Cornelius post. :) That's so cute the Hope puts on make-up and then wants to go out looking like an abused child. And congrats to Grace on her third tooth!

Look at Hopie all dolled up!!! So cute. Gracie is so proud of her toothless grin. She ran up to Shawn to show him on Sunday. So, now he cant wait to get rid of some teeth. : )

Okay, so before I read the description of Hope's make-up obsession - - I got a little worried about her balance. Tom and I had a great big laugh over it.
Thanks, Michelle!

So glad I found your blog. I can keep up with 2 of my favorite families I've known forever. Love the pics. Hug your sweet man for me. We really need to get down and see Winfield's too! Blessings
