Summer fun

I know, I know - soooo long since I've created a blog entry. Sorry :(

We had a great time as a Brouwer fam at the beach, thanks

to some dear friends who shared their incredible home.

We rode bikes, played in the waves, bbq'd and just relaxed.

And, we completed a 1000 piece puzzle in less than 36 hours :)

Here we are enjoying a tea party set up by Gracie.

Since our summer days in July are hot and miserable,

we've been creating fun activities inside :)

And, we often get the benefit of having Aunt Alecia

hang out with us since she works in the evenings but needs

some entertainment during the days.

the yellow thing in the tea pot is a plastic lemon from

their grocery food - Gracie made "lemonade"

cutting cantalops with teensy tea utensils

the rule was you had to drink your tea with your pinky finger

in the air and speak with a British accent :)

you can't really see the bread and muffins on those plates,

but trust me, they're there!
