Brouwer Diamondbacks Game

You may remember that earlier in the summer, we had a Cornelius family Diamondbacks game - this was the Brouwer version. The DBacks were playing the Dodgers and fun was had by all.

Brent cheered the DBacks on from home with his ice pack. The day before he had a minor arthroscopic knee procedure done and the doctor trimmed away part of his minuscus that had torn. So, here he is with his DBacks shirt and ice pack. It's been one week, and he's doing great. He's walking normally, has been back to the gym for light workouts and has golf scheduled for this Saturday. We're thrilled with his quick recovery. I have to admit, however, I was a tad bit disappointed with his alert cognitive skills right after the surgery. Honestly, I was hoping to have a cool "loopy Brent" story to share on the blog, but alas, he was totally coherent. Aaah well, maybe the next surgery.

You guys all look so great in your pictures! How fun to go to a D-Back game. And, sorry to hear that Brent had to miss it--I sure hope his knee problems didn't trace back to that crazy horseback ride about 10 years ago. :) Hope that he is feeling better now!

Fun to see our D-backs event on your blog. It was a great time for all of us, even Brent. He looked happy! Thank you, Michelle, for arranging that evening for us.
Love you, Honey.
