Can you believe, my Gracie has lost her first tooth? I certainly can't! A couple of weeks ago, she informed me, "Mom, my tooth is loose." I said, "yeah, sure it is." Sure enough, after a little wiggle, it was loose. I blinked back some tears thinking that almost 5 was too early for this to happen. I don't have "tooth fairy" plans yet. However, wouldn't you know it, the first day of our San Diego vacation, it got looser and looser. She kept wiggling and twisting and out it came. She was so proud of the big girl she's becoming, that I had to smile. So am I - I just wasn't quite ready.
Here it is - the tooth
Yep, still gone. She was quite excited to find a special note from the tooth fairy, along with a dollar, a mint and a stick of gum. My mom gave me the little tooth pillow that we girls all used growing up, so now we have a tooth fairy plan! Still can't believe it!
