Cousin Rachel's Graduation

Last weekend I had the privilege of attending my cousin, Rachel's college graduation from Whitworth University, in Spokane, Washington. Our family has a long history with Whitworth as my grandfather taught there, my two uncles, an aunt, my father, and two cousins graduated from there, and my parents met there when Mom attended for one year. You could say, if it wasn't for Whitworth's existence, I might not even exist :) It's a fine institution, alot like Westmont (my alma mater) in many ways; promoting Christ, community, and scholarship. Anyway, it was lots of fun to be able to be there (alone and relaxed - Brent kept the girls in AZ). More about our events in another post.

Rachel's happy that she didn't trip down the stairs!
YEAH!
These are her parents, my Aunt Vicki and Uncle Dave. Not exactly sure what Uncle Dave's pointing to, perhaps thanking God that the last of his children is through with college :)
