Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the dads in my life.
First, the father of my children, dear Brent.
Your love for your daughters is evident in everything
you do. They look for you at the end of every
day and can't wait to chase and tickle with you.
They've learned how to swim thanks to your patient teaching.
I appreciate your partnership in parenting, and
am so thankful they have you as their dad.
One of the girls' favorite activities with Daddy
And Happy Father's Day to my dad. What a blessing it has been to be your daughter.
You have taught me the most important lessons in life: to love Jesus and to love people.
I admire your energy, persistence, compassion, intelligence, ambition and love for people.
You have modeled what a good man is, and I love watching you "grandfather" just as enthusiastically as you fathered. Thanks Dad for always being there for every need I had!
I love you!
And Happy Father's Day to Big D (my affectionate nickname for my father-in-law)
I neglected to remember my camera at our Cornelius fathers' celebration, and alas, have no picture of Brent with his dad to post at this moment. Just picture Brent, a little taller, and a lot more gray, and you've got Big D. Big D is an excellent advice-giver and business consultant to Brent. He has taught him persistence, conflict resolution, and calm under pressure. He is quick to assist any of his boys and their families. Gracie and Hope enjoy bilking him for M & M's and dollar bills. Love you Big D!
